Healing Mediumship

Where the contemplative traditions meet spiritual healing

What the Ancients Knew

Across the contemplative traditions of the East and West, there has always been an understanding that the human being cannot be reduced to the physical. Buddhism, Taoism, and the great Hindu traditions have long recognised that suffering has layers — that what manifests in the body often originates elsewhere, in the emotions, in the spirit, in the places where meaning has broken down. Christianity, too, carries a deep tradition of healing through prayer, presence, and the laying on of hands.

What these traditions share is a recognition that healing can occur at levels medicine does not reach — and that the practitioner's role is not to cure but to create the conditions in which healing becomes possible.

The Healing Knows

A healing mediumship session works within that understanding. Karen Frances enters a state of stillness and attunement, inviting what the contemplative traditions have always called the sacred, and allows it to pass through her to you. She does not direct it. It goes where it is needed, which is not always where we expect. Physical pain may have an emotional root. A grief that seems to live in the heart may be stored in the body. A sense of spiritual disconnection may be what underlies both. The healing works at the level where the need is greatest, not simply where it presents.

Some people come with physical pain. Others carry grief, or emotional weight, or a sense of depletion they cannot name. Others arrive knowing only that something needs attention. The healing finds its way.

Your Experience

People experience this differently. Some notice warmth, tingling, or a deepening calm. Others feel very little during the session itself. The effects can be subtle but are still profound.

Toward the close of the session, Karen Frances shares any impressions that came through — where the healing was focused, and anything she sensed or was shown during the session. Not everyone feels the healing as it occurs, but for many people, this brings the reassurance that the healing was received where it was needed most.
