Spirit Stream is a live online presentation of mediumship, offering connection, comfort, and a sense of life’s continuity. Hosted by Karen Frances with guest mediums, each gathering offers messages from loved ones that unfold through memories, emotions, and personal moments that reflect what still matters most, making each connection feel deeply personal.

Have you ever spoken words that felt wiser than anything you planned to say, or written something that seemed to come from beyond your conscious mind? This trance mediumship/channeling mentorship is a twelve-week program in inspired speaking, writing, healing, and altered states of awareness. Through guided practice and personal attention within a small group, you will develop a deeper partnership with spirit, greater confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose.

From the spectral chorus and chaos of Lincoln in the Bardo to the darkly comic tales of CivilWarLand in Bad Decline, this presentation will examine how Saunders combines humor, empathy, and experimental narrative to illuminate what it means to live—and sometimes linger—in the shadow of uncertainty.
We'll explore how he inverts spectral tropes to create ghosts that are not haunting but haunted, complex, imaginative, and psychologically provocative, and who invite the contemporary reader to engage with meaning, connection, and compassion in fresh ways.

Every country has haunted castles and crumbling ruins. America doesn't, so our ghosts had to create a new kind of haunting for a new landscape.
Join Dr. Karen Frances McCarthy as we trace these tales of the uncanny from their beginning to today: Washington Irving's headless horseman, Poe's murderer haunted by a beating heart, Henry James's tormented governess, Shirley Jackson's house that drives everyone mad, and Toni Morrison's daughter who returns from the beyond. There will be chills, laughs, and surprises.

The Story of Spirit is a two-day intensive for intermediate and advanced mediums who are ready to develop greater depth, confidence, and ease in their platform work.
A powerful platform demonstration is about more than producing good evidence. It is about recognizing the communicator, following their story and allowing their character to emerge.
You will work with the skills that shape a strong platform demonstration: developing presence, working with evidence, recognizing character, following the communicator’s story, managing challenges, staying present when things do not unfold as expected, and regulating the nervous
system before you begin.
