Karen Frances McCarthy, PhD CSNU
Karen Frances McCarthy is an Irish author, Spiritualist medium, researcher, and former journalist. The author of four books, her work explores consciousness, mediumship, grief, and our continuing connections with those we love.
A former political journalist and war correspondent, she came to mediumship following the sudden death of her partner — the experience at the heart of Till Death Don’t Us Part. She holds a PhD from the University of Birmingham and three Certificates of Recognition from the Spiritualists’ National Union in mediumship, public speaking, and spiritual healing.
Her writing and teaching bring together personal experience, spiritual practice, and academic research into questions of consciousness, death, and what may lie beyond. Learn More
